These operating instructions are for the Myloc8 Edge 4G GPS tracker, which will simply be referred to as ‘tracker’ in the following. They contain important information regarding set-up and operation. Before using the tracker, please read the operating instructions carefully. This particularly applies to the safety notes. Failure to adhere to these operating instructions may result in severe injury or damage to the tracker.
The operating instructions are based on the standards and rules in force in the European Union. When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guideless and laws. keep the operating instructions for future use. If you pass the tracker on to third parties, please be absolute sure, to include these operating instructions.
Configuration initiale
Installation et recharge de la batterie
Lorsque vous déballez le tracker pour la première fois, la batterie est déchargée. Veuillez la recharger comme suit :
- Branchez la fiche du câble de recharge sur le tracker via le port Micro USB.
- Branchez l'autre extrémité du câble de recharge sur l'adaptateur secteur USB, puis sur la prise de courant. Vous pouvez également brancher le câble de recharge sur un ordinateur.
- Rechargez le traceur pendant 6 heures.
- Le voyant rouge clignote pendant la recharge. Lorsque le traceur est complètement chargé, le voyant reste allumé en rouge fixe.
- Débranchez le tracker du câble de recharge.
Mise en marche du traceur
- Sortez le traceur à l'extérieur afin qu'il soit à l'air libre.
- Vérifiez que le traceur est allumé en appuyant sur le bouton ON/OFF et en le maintenant enfoncé. Le voyant rouge clignotera.
- Posez le traceur et laissez-le ainsi pendant au moins 15 minutes. Cela permet au traceur d'effectuer son premier positionnement GPS, indispensable au bon fonctionnement de l'appareil.
Une fois la configuration terminée, le traceur sera prêt à l’emploi et pourra être activé.
Remarque : cette procédure n’est nécessaire que lors de la toute première mise en marche du traceur.
Activation du traceur via le Web
- Ouvrez votre navigateur Internet et rendez-vous sur myloc8.com
- Inscrivez-vous et créez votre compte Myloc8, puis attendez l'e-mail d'activation envoyé par Myloc8, cliquez sur le lien de confirmation, puis connectez-vous.
- Cliquez sur « Ajouter un traceur » et suivez les instructions à l'écran.
- Saisissez l'IMEI et l'identifiant de votre traceur, puis suivez les instructions pour activer votre forfait.
Activation du traceur via l'application
- Téléchargez l'application Myloc8 depuis l'Apple Store ou Google Play.
- Inscrivez-vous ou connectez-vous à votre compte Myloc8.
- Appuyez sur l'icône « + » pour ajouter l'appareil, puis suivez les instructions d'activation.
Notification
Low battery
When the battery percentage drops to 10%, an alert will be triggered using all the chosen communication methods. The user's specified phone number or email will receive the location details along with a text message.
Zone entry / Zone exit
A geofence is a virtual boundary that can be customized by the user. Whenever the tracker crosses the boundary, whether exiting or entering the defined area, the user will receive a notification within the app. Additionally, the user's specified phone number or email will receive the location information along with a text message.
Please take note that there is a cooldown period of 5 minutes between two consecutive alerts.
SOS key pressed
When the user holds down the SOS button for a minimum of 2 seconds, both the location information and a text message will be sent using all the chosen communication methods.
Speed limit
Once the user sets a speed limit for the device, they will receive an app notification whenever the tracker exceeds the designated speed. In such cases, the user will also receive the location information and a text message sent to the phone number or email address they have provided.
Please be aware that there is a cooldown period of 5 minutes between consecutive alerts.
Start moving
Once the tracker begins to move, the user will be notified within the app. Furthermore, the location information and a text message will be sent to the phone number or email address that the user has provided.

Power ON / OFF
When the device is fully charged and powered on, a notification will be triggered to inform the user about the device being turned on. Similarly, when the device is shut down, a message will be sent to the user to notify them of the shutdown.

Boutons
Bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT
Appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF et maintenez-le enfoncé pour allumer ou éteindre le tracker. Appuyez brièvement une fois sur le bouton ON/OFF pour vérifier si le tracker est allumé.
Remarque : si le voyant vert clignote, le traceur est allumé. Si aucun voyant ne s’allume, le traceur est éteint.
Bouton SOS
Si vous appuyez trois fois sur le bouton d’alimentation (appuis brefs), l’alarme SOS sera déclenchée ; votre position ainsi qu’un SMS seront envoyés au numéro de téléphone ou à l’adresse e-mail que vous avez indiqués.
